Some problems with cpu fan, motherboard, and rheobus

Right now, I got an ALX-800 with a thermaltake smart fan 2 cooling my mobile XP2400 (overclocked 300 mhz, although undervolted)

I recently got a rheobus for my fans since they are kinda lou.d I'm running 2 120s in the case, one is an alumin ball bearing fan, and the other is a thermaltake thunder blade. (1 is hooked up since I need a 3-4 pin molex adapter to use it on the rheobus)

Anyway, when I hook up the cpu fan to rheobus, the bios loads and everything, but then once I get to windows loading screen, the computer shuts down. If it is connected to the motherboard, then the computer starts. The motherboard btw is an abit NF-7s.

My guess is that since the motherboard doesnt detect a cpu fan at startup, it cuts off, thinking there is a problem.

Any suggestions to get this fixed?

Also, the 120 not hooked up to the rheobus has a 3 pin thing on it, but there is only a yellow cable, nothing else. When I hooked up that one cable to the rheobus, the fan wouldn't start. Im assuming that cable is for monitoring purposes, and not for power.

Has anybody else had this problem with the cpu fan not being connected to a motherboard?

Also, could this work? Could I hook up the monitoring cable from the front fan to the motherboard and then hook up the cpu cooling fan to the rheobus?
