some pretty stupid email problems - please help

Please help~

first email problem: i have it configured so that my hotmail account downloads locally to my computer through outlook express. all of a sudden i've been getting double emails of everything in my inbox. anyone else? is there some fix i should be looking for?


second email problem: microsoft entourage, outlook express and just about every other silly email program other than eudora (to the best of my knowledge). my boss uses entourage and wants to cut and paste a 23 email list into her entourage address book as a group. to the best of my knowledge, you can't do that because the address book won't accept entries that are more than one address at a time. yeah? i tried to import the list as a csv (after cutting and pasting it into excel but entourage was saying it wasn't a correctly saved csv).

help please?

Try saving some Entourage addresses and a group, if possible, as a csv -- just to make sure you've got the right format. Then you should be able to duplicate it.

I'm working with a program right now that expects to see a 0.1 in the first position of the csv for an import to work. This was all undocumented and was only found by exporting first, then duplicating the format.

Hope this helps with the csv-import help.

Can't provide much help with the double emails... the only time I've ever seen this was when they didn't get deleted from the server or marked as-read before either the ISP hung up on me or my 'puter froze.
