I live in a (barely) blue 2020 county--in a pretty nice neighborhood in Florida, mind--and I reckon a Biden bumper sticker is a great way to get your car keyed or worse. We have one dude who has been flying a giant Trump flag, then an upside down black-covered American flag (2020), and now a giant trump flag again. Coincidentally, he likes to work out in the driveway with his heavy bag with his open garage with an even bigger TRUMP banner hanging. A real suburban tough guy for sure, ooo scary. Might be a member of the proud pussycats. A house a couple streets over has a 50 ft Let's Go Brandon sign (letters on the roof).

These people are a cult.

Looking forward to my next gig at the VFW when I'll order a Bud light and declare a toast to Disney Depends on how much I fell like fighting with morons that day.

There is one neighborhood nearby where somebody has the confederate flag in their window.
Just down the street I saw the peace flag flying.

Somewhere in Phoenix (might've been Scottsdale) there's a house with a Biden/Harris sign still up. And I finally saw my 2nd "Bye Don" bumper sticker earlier tonight.

Its actually been awhile since I've seen Turmp flags or MAGA hats.

Maybe, but isn't that sort of already the message when you fly the Confederate flag? Or do you mean Southern pride, but also gay pride?

Well, yes, exactly. Dunno about there but here the latter tends to get shortened to just "Pride", as in "Pride week" or "London Pride".

Maybe best not to stress that or the same people who are angry at "tey gays" appropriating the word 'gay' will be annoyed all over again.

The last non-gov't owned sign I saw was at the entrance of a gated neighborhood that violated their own rules where it read: "No signs allowed"

Depending on where you are in TX, signs like that aren't uncommon.

In my suburb of Austin, I'll see several like that, with a few (fading) trump flags here and there. Mostly, though people only put up signs for local and maybe state elections, and not many of those, even.

I saw my first Trump flag this year on an appointment in a suburb about 30 min from NYC. It was on a dead end. My colleague who had the listing said, oh that guy, he's a cop.

Never seen anything like those here. They'd probably have bullet holes in them in a week.

On my way to recent gig in Daytona there was an issue on I-4 so my GPS took me on back roads. I saw a huge TRUMP "shrine" out by the road (for lack of a better term) and got behind a pickup with the white supremacy ok symbol on the back. Nice. Welcome to FL, if the gators don't get you the rubes will. We used to (thankfully no longer) played at a place with an airboat dock in the back and the rednecks would come in dressed in their swamp attire. Our current drummer is black and no way in hell he'd go anywhere near a place like that, none of us might make it out.

You start going just up north of me into the sticks and the large, crude, home made Trump signs predominate. Even not too far from where I live, on the back roads, you see them. What is it about right wingers that they have to compensate for their tiny brains with scenery blocking bull crap?
