Took a drive to see the Blue Moon, got home and cracked open a mid-week Blue Moon to celebrate.

Don't normally drink during the week but hey... Only gonna happen once every blue moon...
 
I can sort of see the fabled Super blue moon...peeking slightly through the clouds and marine layer. (in reality, it's just a spot in the clouds that looks brighter than the rest.)

Wonderful picture. Where are you located/where was this taken?

Thanks...I took the pics in North Dallas (from my front yard) around 10PM CDT last night...
 
Sounds about right lol. Took a nice picture with my phone of the sunset yesterday while out for a walk, well, it looked nice in person. On the picture it's just a little dot in the sky.
 
I learned that there is to be a solar eclipse in October. Apparently, I was the last to know as hotels along the path of totality are booked solid for the weekend of the eclipse.

Yeah, I started my hotel search in Monument Valley and worked my way northwest and southeast. I might be camping on BLM. I don't care how cool the eclipse is; I am not going to Odessa.
