Looks like a beautiful place.

Although, you went on a "nightmare day," where the clouds are hiding and the pics become less interesting. I went to Lake Tahoe in the states for a week and there was only 1 day that had any clouds at all. I was bummed.

I'd hardly call it a nightmare day ;)

I don't go to these places to take great photos, anything I do get is entirely a bonus. As such, beautiful cloudless weather is very welcome. Cool cloudless weather even more so :)

It was a bit hot (low 30Cs), but a cloudy humid day would have been way more brutal while ascending and descending the ~700m vertical distance from the carpark to the peak in a 3km round trip.
