Happy to report that we are still casualty free after five years now. This year I was the only idiot to shove a steak knife into my thumb while trying to top a pumpkin - but twas but a flesh wound.

Alcohol + sharp objects + pumpkins = WIN

Carved some pumpkins last night as well. I tried my hand at shaving the pumpkin down instead of cutting all the way through, still have to touch it up as it didn't work as well as I planned.

I carved a few last night as well. Did something a little different this year and got white pumpkins. Combine that with some Lion's Head and home-made pumpkin pie and cookies, and you have some win. 🙂

Why? I love Flickr, it's easily the best photo community on the web from what I've seen. That slideshow app is pretty crappy but otherwise Flickr is amazing.
