Nice pictures you have there, all in all not a bad start for a beginner. You might want to use a lower ISO setting when taking outdoor pictures (unless it's action photography) for less grain. It would also be a good idea to use the least amount of compression possible, for high quality prints ie photo quality printer use a TIFF file instead. Finally you may want to learn the old fashioned technique of using your body as a sort of tripod, some of the pictures look like the blur may have been caused by a slight camera jitter. I use this technique quite a bit myself, except when I'm using 200mm and larger lenses on my Minolta SRT-101 camera, kinda hard to keep those from jittering.
