Maybe they didn't think you needed help. Next time, if you need help, ask. You'd be surprised at how effective that is.
The obvious, most simple way, is often the one most overlooked....

Funny, my wife and I were in this parking lot this morning watching this kid trying to get his car unstuck. We kept waiting for him to ask for help, but instead he just kept giving us dirty looks while wearing himself out. Kills me that some people think so highly of themselves that they can't ask for help when they obviously need it.

Well, i'm sorry you feel that way. Where I'm from people don't have to ask for help if they obviously need it. Especially if you leave in the same building as them. I don't wait for people to ask me for help if I see that they need it and it's gonna take only 5 minutes of my life. But then again everybody feels that way.

Maybe at that point in their life, they were physically inept?

LOL, BooneRebel was just mocking you dude.;)

I usually help if I see peeps who looks like they need help, of course I ask first. Some peeps are just too shy or egostical to seek help when they need it.

You want to talk about assholes?

I was at Sonic the other day (drive in) and these dickheads pull their suburban around and stop in the middle of the driveway, thus block me and 2 other stalls from being able to back out. Then the passanger and drive get out and trade spots while me and the car next to me have our reverse lights on. Then they get in and the bitch starts looking in the vanity mirror then starts chomping on her food.

Absolutely ridiculous. What assholes.

People!

Stop thinking like women. "We want you do to something but we don't want to tell you, you need to read it from our minds..." If you asked them and they didn't have any excuse but still refused to help, then they are assholes, otherwise, they are just normal people. You can't judge people by the fact that they didn't help you. And why is it that everybody is helping each other, and they are not helping you? Something is wrong with the thread's title, i guess.

I agree with you, I can't stand those self-serving and selfish people and they certainly qualify as assholes.:disgust:

The only people I will help without being asked are people that obviously cant do it by themselves, with the exception being SUV and luxury car drivers. These drivers seem to think that they can drive 50 mph in bad weather because their car is so elite, so they can help themselves. I saw an explorer start fishtailing and almost hit a high curb after the driver tried to pass me up doing 45 in a snow storm on unplowed streets.

I was going to ask, but they pretended that they don't notice me. I still should've asked just to piss them off :)

No, you shouldn't have asked to piss them off. You should have asked to get some help. :frown:

What an amazing concept eh?

I'm assuming it was snow related, but if he was a ricer, wouldn't he be able to remove the big wing on the back of his car and use that as a shovel?

I assume a shot of *NOS* would do the trick in that case...:D

The original Hummer has four hooks that a helicopter can grab to pull you out.

if it was a ricer he could have poured some soysauce out of the crankcase under the weels to melt the snow.
