If Joe Rogan wants to endorse Bernie who cares. Bernie’s job is not to fawn over an endorsement that is poisonous.
I agree. I'd have a problem with Bernie if he altered his position to a bigoted one to get the vote of bigots (cause or effect).

Otherwise you can say that any organisation is automatically an unconscionable voting choice because an objectionable person somewhere wants to vote for them, which logically leaves one with no voting choices and an unworkable system (or at least one that only unscrupulous people take part in).

I know it’s not that hard to understand
Joe Rogan, a Klan guy a sports guy an actress a moron are all free to endorse whomever they want
The candidate is not required to acknowledge or thank anyone for an endorsement.

Only complicated part to me is the klan endorsement, if you end up on that list you really should evaluate why you ended up on the list.

Tempted to point out that Hillary was endorsed by Henry Kissenger. I found that shocking, personally, because I see him as a war-criminal and utterly beyond-the-pale.

But different political strands have different priorities and different ideas of what is a 'deal breaker'. Hillary is a hawk on foreign policy, and Bernie doesn't appear to put much emphasis on things that get labelled with the (very ill-defined) term 'identity politics'. So such endorsements probably are associated with real political differences, even if the guilt-by-association aspect allows people to exaggerate those.

But somehow you need to stay focussed on the 'real enemy' and avoid getting too sidetracked by such things, or Trump is going to win.

Maybe the best solution is for Bernie to not trumpet this endorsement, but not reject it either. He really doesn't have to say anything about it. If some people on the left are pissed off at Rogan, it's probably best not go touting this in the dem primary. OTOH, there is no reason to alienate any of Rogan's fans. He tends to cater to an anti-establishment center-right crowd who aren't very fond of Trump.
Had to Google who the F he was. Never heard or seen him. Very popular chap.

One of my favorite political commentators... funny how they are all mostly youtube people these days and hardly any cable news pundits after 2016....

Anyway one of Kyle of Secular Talks points was that it's funny how some people are outraged over a podcaster are the kind not to be outraged people like Henry "WAR CRIMINAL!" Kissinger endorsing someone... or maybe some of the same saying why are you making a big deal about Ellen taking selfies with Bush W.
Nevermind the that Bush W is a person whose decisions have led to at the very low estimates about 200k dead Iraqi civilians as a result of the unnecessary Iraq invasion of 2003.

It is so weird how like 1-2 people will say something on Twitter and the entire alt-right Fox news universe will go into a frenzy of "OMG the left is freaking out!"

No, morons, the only people freaking out are you.

He was the host for Fear Factor.

Ah, yes. Forgot about that one. I bet there's quite a few things he's done that I dont recall or know about. After graduation, I had two jobs and went to college, I missed entertainment for most of my 20's and early 30's. It's hard work keeping up with those Hollywood libtard elites

No, because an intellectual charlatan is exactly what Shapiro is. He purposefully uses a veneer of perceived intelligence to both mask his own ignorance and deceive gullible people. There are people I disagree with ideologically who I at least appreciate for their directness and honesty; Shapiro has neither of those traits. Until he does, he deserves no respect.

You're suggesting he's not a real intellectual, correct?

TF is the problem here?

D's actually trying to win an election?

Main stream media hates Bernie with a passion because he threatens their profiteering structure. FoxNews is shit but I hope people don't believe that networks like CNN are saints either, far from it. CNN is just one tier above FoxNews but still trash level.

I saw a Sanders ad the other day where he evoked the moon landing and flashed images of FDR, Truman and Kennedy.

Sanders doesn’t play identity politics. He speaks to all Americans and champions the legacy of the New Deal. There is a place for “left” but not “woke” in his coalition, which is where Rogan comes in.

As a someone on the left, I hereby call on Bernie to announce plans to invade Canada and take the socialized medicine that we all deserve.
