The book [?Eat This, Not That!?] includes a clever ranking of the country?s 20 worst foods in various categories. Here are some of them:

Worst Fast Food Meal: McDonald?s Chicken Selects Premium Breast Strips with creamy ranch sauce. Chicken sounds healthy, but not at 870 calories.

Worst Drink: Jamba Juice Chocolate Moo?d Power Smoothie. With 166 grams of sugar, you could have had eight servings of Ben & Jerry?s.
Worst Supermarket Meal: Pepperidge Farm Roasted Chicken Pot Pie. One pie packs 64 grams of fat.

Worst ?Healthy? Burger: Ruby Tuesday Bella Turkey Burger. With 1,145 calories, not a very healthy choice.

Worst Airport Snack: Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll. Packed with 813 hot gooey calories and 5 grams of trans fats.

Worst Kids? Meal: Macaroni Grill Double Macaroni ?n Cheese. With 62 fat grams, it?s the equivalent of 1.5 full boxes of Kraft Mac ?n Cheese.

Worst Salad: On the Border Grande Taco Salad with Taco Beef. A salad with 102 grams of fat and 2,410 mg of sodium.

Worst Dessert: Chili?s Chocolate Chip Paradise Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream. At 1,600 calories, it?s like eating the caloric equivalent of three Big Macs.

You mean eating sugary and fatty foods is what makes you fat? So THAT'S what we've been doing wrong all these years.

Looks like I know what I need to eat now! 🙂

Although most of those restaurants aren't around here. Some of that stuff is ridiculous! I didn't know you could eat a fairly average dinner and go over 2500 calories.
 
Moe: Oh, boy! The deep fryer's here. Heh heh, I got it used from the navy. You can flash-fry a buffalo in forty seconds.
Homer: Forty seconds? But I want it now!
 
for the past 6 months i have eaten very clean...very strict with little indulgence..combined with a disciplined exercise program..my resting heart rate is awesome so is BP, stress levels, blood work..and the best part...my allergies are better and I did not get sick one time this season...when all around had flu and respiratory infections. after the first fours weeks... you really dont miss it. every now and then i will have some "junk"...

Good stuff. not for everyone though...to each their own.

A guy at work, who is morbidly obese was making his usual 2x double decker sandwich with gobs o meat, cheese, peanutbutter, mayonaise, jelly etc...all the time wheezing moving the 4 feet from the counter to the fridge... good lord I am glad i am not like that...he takes the elevator to go up one flight, cuz he would code if he walked.
