I hear notebooks with the 8400M GS can be upgraded to take the 8600M GT. Is this true? whats the cheapest 8400m notebook i can get that will do this? Whats the best card i can do this with? There are these Notebook video cards floating around on ebay and craigslist, so i gots to thinkin.... Am i whistleing in the dark or am i on to some thing?
 
where did you hear that from?
some? maybe, but not all. also have to take into consideration that notebooks are built with certain thermal thresholds in mind
