HL2, Oblivion, Doom 3, Chronicles of Riddick, Darwinia a ton of shmups (Gridwars, Team Shangai Alice games, Crimsonland) and a ton of Guild Wars near the end... etc.

May i ask, in particular, what you're shocked about?

(I take the screenshots through a timed function in irfanview, one screenshot 80% jpg every 5 seconds, tis enough that it doesn't effect my framerate too much. (Although it does effect it a bit, espicially on the frame the shot is taken - thats why some of my framerates look so low in the games that have them displayed)
The screenshot method is the reason for so much jaggies, even when AA is on, they still show up in the screenshots more pronounced. It's a shame, but something i've learned to deal with.

I know i have some obscure titles in there, if there are any games in particular you are curious about, just post the screenshot and i'll tell you what it is, and generally, where to get it. A lot of those games (the non-FPS ones, anyway) are free-ware.

If you think something like this is frightening:

Wait till you see it in motion.

Do you mean in the Oblivion screens?? I honestly can't remember whether AF was on when I took those screenies. Splinter Cell on the other hand definitely has AF on.

I have this one in my photobucket; I took it a couple of hours after getting the game in april. It looks a little better than that in my rig currently due to beautification mods.

Vanilla Oblivion

When I open up the pic it is REALLY small. Maybe you linked to the thumbnail instead of the full-size pic.

What's up with the palm trees in the first picture? The leaves look all blurred out and low resolution.

I thought the same, did you edit them? 😀

It looks like he's got the e_vegetation_sprites_distance_ratio waaay down.

@SonicIce: Set it back to 1.000, which is default IIRC. If it is already at 1.0, then there is something seriously wrong with your game/drivers/video card.

It was at the default 1.0. I think the low res stuff in the distance is just amplified more because the resolution was so high. We took the shot at a lan party on dual 21" trinitrons and I didn't know about the e_vegetation_sprites_distance_ratio console command back then. But it would have helped.

LOOK AT IT AND WEEP (from beauty, duh).

This is probably one of the most amazing screens I have ever seen in a game. Of course, the game ran like crap on my 6600gt at those settings, but the picture is definitely nice! 🙂

Enjoy! 🙂

PICTURE!!!

It's really not playable at all...1fps or less usually. Sometimes it just displays that screen and then crashes.

Some more Oblivion pics, I'll try to get some FEAR ones out soon. I think some of these were taken when I was running 2xAA. I've been experimenting with different settings lately due to overclocks. Also, if you click the picture once with the magnifying glass a lot of the weird jaggies go away, so I think it has something to do with how the pics were converted into 1600x1200 this time instead of 1280x1024.
