Some moron used my gmail address

for their Match.com registration. I have their complete logon and access to their profile, as well, I have started to receive emails for winks, matches and favorites. The profile seems legit and not something that was setup to harass me with, though I can't figure out why he used me gmail address.

Have no way of telling the guy (who lives in Tampa, btw) that he used the wrong email address, other than messing with his profile comments.

Guess, I'll have to try to get this resolved through Match.com customer support.

I had the exact same thing happen a few months ago but I think it was for cougarlife. It was some dude in Australia. I just got the account password, and deleted the account. He hadn't put any money into it that I could tell, so I figured he could just re-make the account.

doesn't seem to be. In fact, the second email I received contained a Welcom for signing up, the username, password, zipcode, date of birth, gender and "searching for". All of it was printed plain as day in the email.

Tempt recipient to log in and create humorous profile modifications with a simple password "recovery." I thought that at first, so I went directly to Match.com browser rather than the link in the email. Enter in username and password, and voila! I get this guy's page. Like someone else said, I think he just used what he thought would be a fake email address to set up an account.
