yes,ive read all the books dozens of times.
these questions pertain to the movie.

Why does Aragorns beard become full only after becoming king?

Did Sean Astin have flashbacks of Sloth on the set when he ran into the Orc captain?

What was Peter Jacksons logic behind having Gandalf beatdown Denethor with his staff?

1) Movie magic?
2) LOL.
3) It happened sort of the same way in the book, Jackson just felt the movie was more "dramatic" or something.

yes i am aware some time passed, but he was shaggy from Bree to the Pellinor...then all of a sudden he's rogain man.

yes i am aware some time passed, but he was shaggy from Bree to the Pellinor...then all of a sudden he's rogain man.

I think it just looked right for the scene in the film.

Gandalf beat down Denethor to assert that he was greater, and that Denethor was a lowly steward. I wish they had included Gandalf saying that he is a steward as well (steward of nature).
