Some lady just hit my car and ran!

so i was parked in front of mcdonald's and i'm waiting for them to bring my order out and it gets to be a long wait so i'm starting to get irritated. well as i'm inside asking for my food, my car is running outside with my gf in the passenger seat. Then this 40-ish old lady swings her big white car's door open and scratches my 4-month old car in the right front bumper (i wasn't parked completely in since i was just waiting for the McD's people to bring my food out). well all of a sudden my gf starts yelling that this b*tch hit my car and then i run up to that lady's driver window and start knocking and yelling "look what you did to my car! atleast get out and look!" all the while trying to control my anger... I felt like I was gonna lose it and kick her car door in or break a window or something but I just kept yelling at her that she hit my car.. well she just keeps saying "i didn't hit your car" (with the full knowledge that my gf was INSIDE the car when she felt the impact)!! well I run to the back of her car and get her tags and after she almost runs over my gf who's trying to get her to stop, this old bag just takes off speeding to exit the parking lot.

well to sum up.. I was parked, she hit me with her door and then took off...

so i called the cops and they said they couldn't do anything since it's not a moving violation... BULLSH*T!$!%#% so i called my insurance company instead and i gave them the information about what happened but i'm regretting it cuz i get headaches every single time i've dealt with my insurance co... hopefully i get that wrinkly old b*tch to pay for the detailing. i bet it's not even gonna cost that much.. its just the principle of the matter yknow? does anyone have any advice on what i should do now?

oh by the way her CA license plate was:
3TQN146
White Dodge Caravan

Description of woman:
Mid to late 40's
Blonde short, curly hair
and she had two kids in the car with her

Me too. the GRille guard on my truck might fall off on to her hood while she is parked somewhere. that would suck 🙂

i would go even further. i would go and ding the doors of her sons and daughters, then her husband, then move on to extended family.
 
Search for "1 cent cd" on eBay. It has this proggie that allows you to get peoples information from their liscense plate #. Or so it claims 🙂

Call your insurance, they're the only ones other than the police qualified to run plates and get an address (at least in Ca, laws differ in other states). Once you get her info you can file small claims against her to recover any damages. Sorry that you have to deal with the insurance company but it's the only way.
 
potato up the tailpipe, keying, i forgot which liquid would remove paint in hot weather, was it brake fluid? Anyway, go have some fun.

at least you saw the behoach who hit you, one day i was at the mall and i came back to find my car with a dent and scrapes on the passenger side doors
 
i bet you scared the bejeesus out of her, running up to her car like a madman and pounding on the window. Her kids were probably peeing in their pants and she couldn't find the mace under her driver's seat (it's probably illegal like everything else in california) so she decided to make a break for it.

i think bologna can take paint off, or was it eggs.... i dunno, but thermite is the best =) it'll take more than the paint off.😀

I'd chase after her, get in front of her, slam on the brakes. Now its a moving violation and she will be at fault.

Or if thats too extreme, look up her location if you can

Then do: potato up tailpipe like someone said, or bologny on the car in the afternoon. The enzymes in that will turn any car into a dalmation. Or pour paint thinner.

That's a myth. A sudden, unnecessary, unexplained stop is also a moving violation. Your fault.
 
I got a big scratch on my car (I think 4 DAYS after I got the car), didn't see who did it. It's still there (car is now 3 months old). I feel for ya, good luck.
