Some KA7 problems....

Ok, I'm sure no one will have any answers for these problems but here goes....

First of all what's the difference between an Abit KA7 and an Abit KA7-100 mobo (i have a KA7)?

Also the cpu temperature in PC health is always at 0 celcius which I know is not right....

I've been having some random freezes on about every 10 boot ups.

There are 2 duplicate USB root hub drivers in my device manager and 2 duplicate via pci to usb drivers as well. And no matter how many times I remove all of them they all come back in pairs.

Lastly, the most annoying problem, in directx games I have this problem that just started recently when I reinstalled windows where I get random chokes and static pops. This doesn't happen in alot of directx apps like 3DMark 2k for example but it does in some games like vampire tm:r....

I have had one victory over my bug problems though that may help someone else who reads this. I enabled 15m-16m memory hole and it got rid of a lot of sound freezes and cpu pausing that occured very often.

Here's the specs:
Athlon 700
Abit KA7 MOBO
128mb corsair ram clocked to 100mhz
sblive
guillemot geforce 256
56k pci usr v.90 non-winmodem
3com 10/100 nic
hollywood plus decoder card
USB mouse
western digital ide hdd
6x dvd
iomega zip-100
I have directx v7.0a
Newest detonator drivers from nvidia
via 4 in 1 drivers for agp in turbo mode and the inf files (4.24 I belive)
flashed bios
newest version of liveware (3.0)
newest decoder drivers

hope i didn't forget anything

1. KA7-100 supports ata-100 hard drives.
2. It says 0 celsius becuase you don't have a temp monitor cable hooked up.
3. Could be heat related. Check your cpu. Also try power supply.
3. I think it install one for each usb port.
4. no clue
