Some jackass slashed my tires

Just bought myself a new car. Have it for maybe 3 days.
I go outside this morning and both rear tires are flat.
I figure I must've rode over something.
I bring it in to get them changed and the guy tells me that someone punched a hole in the wall of both of 'em. Who the heck would do that? I didn't even put my Yankees logo on the car yet.

Past girlfriends?
Because you're an ass? (doubtful)
Someone has a hate for new things?

I hope the rims weren't damaged. Did it happen at work or home?

I noticed this morning. The guy at the tire place told me they were small holes, so the air could've taken all day to leak out. I have no idea where this happened, or why.

Rims are fine. These tires have an edge that protects the rims when they go flat.

edit: seriously, everytime i hear a story about someone's car getting jacked with i always think of that scene.

There's nothing more to tell. I'm trying to think who I pissed off who or what, but I can't come up with anything at all.
 
A few years ago, I had my Acura RSX keyed in a Fry's electronics parking lot, it was about a month old too, so I understand your frustration. There's a lot of jealous/envious people out there and some of them figure if they can't have it, they'll ruin the day of someone else who does.
