I'd bet pretty good money the margin of error in those stats is high enough to render them useless.

Someone posted something like this before, but it lacked the graphs and it had more info (i.e. car ownership statistics and other stuff like that).

And last time a lot of people misinterpreted the stats - i.e. the ethnicity graph makes it look like we have more Asians than white people here, and some people interpret it that way and dismiss it. If you read it though, it's saying our Asian density is 4x the Internet average. Not necessarily more Asians than Caucasians, just more than average.

I disagree. If we have more Asians than average, and less Caucasians than average, then we have more Asians than Caucasians.

Very poor logic there. You might want to rethink that.

Ummm... did someone do a secret survey to get this stuff? Or is it pulled out of a hole somewhere...

Ummm let?s apply some basic statistics to this question and come up with an answer.

Now I don?t know what the racial make up of the internet is, so I will go with make up of the entire country.

Depending on what figure you go with either 75% or 68% of the country is white aka Caucasian.
Latinos are 12.5%
Blacks 12.3%
Asians at 7.1%

Therefore there are 10 times as many white people in this country as Asians.
So if the typical internet user?s racial make up was the same as this then the ratio of Asians to Caucasians would have to be 10 to 1 for their to be an equal amount of them on the web site.

In a pure numbers sense: according to this site there are 61,985 visitors per month.
IF the racial make up of the visitors was the exact same as the country in general that would mean:
42149 Whites (61,985x68%)
4338 Asians (61,985x7%)
That would be the internet average I.E. 100

However, the site says the number of Whites is 85% of the internet average and the number of Asians in 385% of the internet average.
Doing the math we come out with:
35860 Whites (42,149x85%)
16701 Asians (4338x385%)

So the number of Whites vs. Asians is still 2 to 1. A much higher ratio than that of the general population, but the Whites still dominate by a long shot.

IF my math is wrong then please provide the correct answers, thanks :D

It's definitely some type of hole.

Well lets give it a try. Try adding your website to be tracked and see how it goes in a week or so.
