Just because a CPU has 128-bit internal registers doesn't mean that carries to the outside world.
Doesn't anybody remember the 386SX?
 
Right, 128Bit is not only for memory addressing, could be used for instruction speed up if you pre-load values onto the instruction word like a "01010101" mask or something instead of creating it in during the instruction execution.
 
Release in 2011? I really hope that better be one hell of a CPU because until then AMD only has Phenom 2 which is only competitive with C2Q and even that segment is going to replaced by Nehalem...2010 is gonna be a year of hurt for AMD.

They have a couple of interim products coming in 2010 to help weather the storm. Some 6 core phenoms (thuban or something I think?) and the 12-core Mangy Corps also coming
