Nice site, alltough I wonder what the numbers mean and how up-to-date they are.

Is it only goverment aid or are private donations included?

Here in the Netherlands we have a fixed central account number that is used for all disaster aid donations (giro 555), so it's easy to check the dutch numbers (140 mil $ atm, not 4 mil the site says)

Just wondering how other countries organize this...

Auz/NZ likes to bitch, but they doesn't actually do anything. That and jumping aggressive spiders and new anti small tit laws.. whats in the auz water lately? Oh thats right killer stingrays.

I would guess the individual donations goes into the private individuals and organizations part. That would screw the figures up though if your government takes the donations.
