It's kinda odd how the QuadroFX2000 and 3000 use basically the same heatsink structure and height, but the NV40's is just enclosed in a wind tunnel enclosure, yet the NV40 is missing that extra pci bracket closing off the 2nd slot
 
i'm sure the partners will come up with some cooling solutions of their own.. at least i hope so. it doesn't look very efficient to me, and that warp2search.net comment rasies more doubts. it takes up 2 slots anyways, why not vent it out the back of the case??

There will undoubtedly be designs like that from OEMs
