some help regarding cpu

hey,
Im confused between the amd fx6100 and intel core i3 3220.
other things im goona buy along this -(its a fresh build)

gigabyte amd radeon 7770..
corsair 4 gb ram (1600)
corsair cx430 psu..
motherboard-
msi b75 ma e33 for the i3
or,
gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3 for fx6100

the main things im goona do is gaming😛 not anything else
but in future would use some programming softwares..

so which is an OVERALL BETTER PROCESSOR ...

the games im gonna run are-
nfs (all)
gta 5
crysis 3
bf3
etc.. (not too hardcore gamer)..

Crysis 3 will be very very very slow. The other games are slow to on a 7700 budget card. gl
 
I'd go with 6300 over the 6100.....better performance; about the same price OC nicely and will give you a very nice system......and has far more threads than the I3 which is getting more important as we've seen in games this year and specially; later this year and next year....

What is your budget? Do you live near a Microcenter? The best choice would be to spend a bit more and get an i5. Of the processors you picked the i3 will be better in older poorly threaded games and the 6300 better in newer highly threaded games. An i5 would be better in both.

However, with only a 7770, you will be gpu limited anyway, so pretty much either would be more than adequate.
