hey guys. if you can help i would appreciate this:
i have an hp that i used parition magic on to merge the two partitions that came with it.
i get a black screen of death. as soon as i try to boot to the drive, i get a black screen of death, just a black scree with an underscore flashing.
however, i boot to another drive, run paritition magic, and it tells me that the parition on the drive in question is "bad". i can access the drive and backup files and whatnot, however, i can't boot to the thing and no matter what i try, partition magic (version 8) tells me the drive's partiotion is "bad"
anything to do with the master boot record?
