Ok, so you asked her out, spent some money on her...held hands....that doesnt mean much. Why didnt you kiss her! You said it yourself, you have low selfesteem and probably afraid of rejection (arnt we all?). You probably took too long man. You cannot do this.....
You've never even kissed her. How is she "yours". Obviously shes playing the feild. Thats healthy and I support it. Shes not going "out on you". come on man, I know you're bummed...but dont lose perspective of the whole situation.

I don't want to sound like an a-hole, but holding hands and going to dinner does not mean she is your girlfriend. Sounds like you guys haven't even kissed skoorb let alone anything more intimate than that. I have female friends that I hold hands with, walk in arms together, dance together, see movies and eat together often but thats what they are, friends. Would I date any of them? Maybe, but they are friends, and thats what you are to her. You can't ever be someones boyfriend unless you have a conversation about your relationship with each other.
But let's give you and skoorb some hope and say she sees you as possibly more than a friend... even then she is entitled to date whoever she wants. You can never assume things, you must establish a committed relationship.... until each person can do whatever they want.
And quite frankly all my female friends would never ever ever want to date some creepy guy who follows them around when they go on a date, whats up that man? Get a grip you cant stalk people, that is just plain not cool at all. There is absolutely no way in hell you could ever make her dislike or hate this other guy on your own, the ONLY thing you can do is bring your A-game and hope she digs you more than this other dood.
Personally I'd give her the cold shoulder/ignoring treatment and see how she reacts. Don't give skoorb no attention. If she likes you she will do things to get your attention, if she is too into this other guy she won't notice you gone. If she bites, hang out with her and give her a huge wet one on the lips at the right time, thats the only true way to find out. Not to mention parodies are for pussies man. Yeah.
