Wow i must say after countless days of trying to overclock this biatch, I think I have succeeded. I'm using 1.75 volts (jumpered) to power so far, a 1066mhz duron :). 11x here i come!

BTW some questions. . .

Can you increase the voltage in the bios while you have it set in jumpered mode?

What's the factory speed of that Duron? I have a factory unlocked 600MHz that won't do 1GHz unless I'm using 1.85v.. I can get it up to 1.035GHz as well, but nothing higher.

Hello,

What motherboard do you guys have (or know) to have successfully overclocked the Duron?

I have a Duron 600 ... on a (please don't laugh) Matsonic MS8117C (VIA KT133) motherboard. The Bios (Award 6.00PG 08/20/2000) doesn't allow me to change the multiplier, and as far as I can see, there're no jumpers on board that allows me to do that either. I have been running at 636MHz (106MHz x 6.0, 1.53V) for a while now without problem, normally at around 41 C. It won't go any higher than that, unfortunately .

I'm seriously considering dumping this m/b and getting one that will allow me to overclock the cpu. Any recommendation based on experience would be much appreciated.

regards,

Vincent
