All for term limits, however open to negotiation on how to implement. Maybe we need to have term limits but applied per person per party. So if say John McCain does two terms as Senator, that's fine. He is welcome to run again but cannot do so under Republican banner. He either needs to run under another party. Either he'll be good enough to be elected again under another party or out of the millions of people in each state, somehow another person will be somehow good enough to take his place (crazy thoughts, I know). 12 years at the helm in your state is plenty long enough, it's someone else's turn...

And besides, without term limits we could have reluctantly re-elected Obama and Biden without having to utterly humiliate ourselves on the international stage putting up with the either of the two clowns we were offered to replace him with.
While I would have greatly preferred Obama over either Trump or Clinton; I am even more strongly against life-long presidents. That is both (a) unconstitutional and (b) highly dangerous. One congressman serving terribly for life can't do too much harm. One president serving for life is at best a king and at worst a dictator.

I don't like the concept of term limits for presidents, but there is an actual need for them. A strong president can keep making themselves stronger and make it impossible to vote out (see just about any leader around the world who is serving for life). A strong congressman cannot do that as easily--other than by gerrymandering which can always be undone. There are many ways to get a congressman out of the office without term limits. It can be impossible to get a strong president out of the office without term limits.
