it's in beijing.. near downtown I think
went there yesterday and they had a lot of nice stuff

fake Bvlgari watches, fake louis vuitton watches, etc.

They had PSP for about $125.. which I found myself surprised at the low price

Buy some pirated DVDs. My friend is in Beijing right now, and he gets pirated DVDs and stuff for like 25 cents. Oh, and for obvious reasons, don't declare it to customs 😉

Not really a whole lot worth buying. Nothing cheap will be good quality, and even a lot of expensive stuff will be bad quality. I'd get a lot of cheap fake brand name clothing. A lot of it will shrink, or the dyes will run, but some of it is okay.

Usually for chinese people, getting 50% of asking price is common for the fake stuff, but if you look like a foreigner, then it might be hard.

It's stupid. They're probably like burned versions of some screener.

You do realize that movie releases come out in the US first, so screeners all originate from the US. Then because BT makes everything global, these Chinese guys download it and burn and sell. Pathetic IMO.

I can bet you that if I burned my own dvd using a dvd shrink, that they would be in better quality, and I would trust those anyday over whatever-the-crap they sell in China.

It's usually VCDs upconverted to DVDs. Ew?

I bought a few blazers in Taiwan. Cheap and good quality too. Definitely a good call

There is the good stuff. They cost slightly more but still dirt cheap in terms of US dollars. I know because my cousin had a whole stash of them when I visited a couple of years ago.
