Some Good Cases in the Refurb Area of Newegg

well there is 4 black enermax listed now and i'm tempted to buy them if the rest of you don't beat me to them-hint hint-Yeah they shipped my last 4 enermax upgraded to overnite for free then I got $50 a piece back-and no rebate to deal with.

My refurb nikoa black still hasn't shipped-it was at step 2 for 3 days-I called and Its suppose to go out today and they said they upgraded the shipping. I pay by money order (easier to hide from the wife what I spend haha) so when I have a problem I just have them apply credit to 1 of the orders I currently have -which is like 30 order's waiting for payment right now! I hope I get some overtime $$$ this weekend.

I dont think those enermax are worth $70 unless its perfect or you plan to gripe and get $50 discount and then sell the pos emermax 330w ps it comes with for $45 on ebay, then buy the pc power and cooling that's on sale for $95

Wow. I just moved all my components over to the refurbed 1040 i got from them. GaDzOoKs! this case is damn good! i ran SiSoft burnin test for about 15 minutes and my CPU temp barely hit 50C . My IDLE temps of my old case were at least 54C! I'm loving this case. Too bad it wasn't messed up bad enough for me to complain and maybe get some money back.

got my nikoa in today-looks in good shape-it was in a newer enermax 710 box and i'm thinking cool they sent me the $100 enermax by mistake--nope!! in side was a older beat up box---anyway the nikoa looks cool but its really light and lots of sharp edges and not many rolled edge's. oo well $29 & $8 shipping with no power supply just like the way there sold---no ps-- I'm happy for $37.

IBM Black Enermax came in today. The case is in great shape, but the power supply is a Delta 460WT instead of the Enermax 350WT. Only problem is the PSU has a 24 pin server connector instead of 20 pin. Couple of the bezel covers are missing and one set of drive rails, two slot covers. That part doesn't bother me at all. I'd take them off anyway. I'm happy that the case isn't damaged at all. Guess somebody decided to pull a fast one on them and switched PSU's. Doubt this one works. I'll call them up in the morning and get a big credit! Maybe I can talk them into sending me a PS instead of knocking the price down. If I can get one or the $50 off I'll be happy.

Newegg is owned by a company called ABS computer-they build systems-I got a couple of those case's with ABS case badges on them-ABS must sell there less than perfect stuff through Newegg, so maybe that case is from ABS and it is a good ps

Yep, it's got the ABS badge on it. Called them up and after complaining came to an agreement on $45 off and I keep the PSU. So I'm very pleased!

you probally know this already but that ps is for a dual cpu like tyan-those ps are not cheap$$-glad to hear you got $45 off-that had some sparkle 300 for $19 with free shipping in the refurb section but I think those are gone-there are some for $19 +8 shipping-I like sparkle-you could get the antec on sale this week at comp usa?

Since it does have a abs case badge I dont think that was a new enermax sold by newegg and the buyer swapped out the enermax ps---more likely that it was swapped out at ABS and they installed the delta ps-Just a guess?

keyman923- I think your right on the ABS switching it out. No signs on the box of it having a second label ever put on it. The case is unused for sure. No dust bunnies anywhere inside. Fans are all new also. The PSU cables are tied in with a CD audio cable so I figure it was hooked up to something at some point. Maybe they had it hooked up for show. I'm gonna test this PSU with a multimeter and see if it's working this weekend. If so, I got an even better deal. I still came out with a good case for $40 delivered.
