ya go to tools (in IE) an click on "view source"

you''ll get a notepad open up and look like this:

*****snip*****

<center>
<OBJECT ID="MediaPlayer" classid="CLSID:22D6F312-B0F6-11D0-94AB-0080C74C7E95" codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/ mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=5,1,52,701" standby= "Loading Media Player" type="application/x-oleobject"><PARAM NAME="FileName" VALUE="http://ftpfiles.shacknet.nu/videos/dildo.wmv"><PARAM NAME="AutoStart" Value="True"><PARAM NAME="ShowControls" VALUE="True"><PARAM NAME="ShowStatusBar" VALUE="True"><EMBED type="application/x-mplayer2" pluginspage="http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/MediaPlayer/" SRC="http://ftpfiles.shacknet.nu/videos/dildo.wmv" width=320 height=310 name="MediaPlayer"

*****snip*****

look for the part in bold, drop into a download manager (ie: GetRight) and d/l it....

this works great for flash/shockwave too

some time the link is a relative path with just the file name example: source="./coolflash.swf" in cases like that you just take that file name "coolflash.swf" and add to the end of the link you originally got...

sometimes if your lucky and the admin didn't turn off directory browsing/listing you can cut and paste the "http://ftpfiles.shacknet.nu/videos/" part of the link and see a full directory listing of content...

Great, thanks. I didn't even bother to look at source, a good deal of the time they make it so hard to actually save the real file itself.
