according to my mum, i used to love raw beef minced meat when i was a kid.

i switched my preference to napalm-charred meat when i started to go to camp, and all our food was cooked on campfires. eventually lost appetite for rare stuff, and now i can't eat anything less cooked than medium.

Same here used to eat the raw hamburger neat when mum was making meat loaf
