"stellarium keeps giving me an error... is it cause i have two monitors?"

I run with two monitors (well one, and a TV) and I have no problems. I use second display as extended desktop though, and Stellerium does not utilize the second display.

Anyone ever figure this one out?

Thanks! Stellarium helped me out with my telescope.

Even though I saw it listed as a screen saver I too have yet figured out how to make it one as well.

As for the people here like me who remember the old flying toaster ss called after dark and cant get it to run on windows XP. I have good news I found out how to make it work. If you have the game or, if not it can be had rather cheaply, open the disc in my computer and explore. In the disc find the install exe and right click and select properties. Go to compatibility and select it to run as win 98. Click apply and ok and it will now install on your xp system and run as well. I have found doing this not only for this screen saver but for 80% of the games when I go to install and gives me the error message "this program will not run on the NT operating system" that if I do the above it will install and it will run. Soem times you have to find the games EXE and do the above as well but for the screen saver you do not.

Just though I would give this out there for the masses like me who have the old after dark ss disc laying around and are dying to watch the toaster and the other trippy SS we all grew to love 😀 After Dark will always be my most fav screen saver of all time for me.

There was a SS i had but lost a long time ago, I think it was called Flare or something similar. I believe it was a windows port of some linux SS. If i remember correctly it just had a little flair that moved around the screen changing colors. I love it. Anyways, lost it in a format and i've never been able to find it again. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks so much...have been playing around with several of the screensavers since your original post. Current favorites are Fireworks and Euphoria.
