People saying ride your bike to work, if he's spending that much money on gas in a week, it doesn't look like it's a reasonable distance to bike.
-snip-
What advice or ideas would you give me? Im not sure how I can spend less on food as more or less, I eat McDonalds and crap like that and its the only thing near as I have 1 hour to eat.
Public transports' hours are not compatible with my working hours (full shift)
lol wut? almost no employers do this unless you a driving a company vehicle
Let me spell it out for those of you that come in with these types of questions:
I work in a typical white collar job that most kids would praise. I get paid pretty fuckin' well. My vacation/benefits is also awesome. Work is a tough ass grind where overtime is expected. But I tell you all this to bring out one final point.
1. I don't drive to work. Why? Because I'm not a dumbass that wants to pay for car gas, car maintanance (0.50 per mile last i recall), car wrecks, $10/day for parking etc.. etc.. I RIDE the fucking bus in my business attire and laptop bag.
2. I don't go out to eat every day. In fact, unless I'm invited (which usually means I'm not paying the tab anyway) I never go out to eat for lunch. No exceptions. I'm a desk-diner - but you know what? If they really want me to eat in the crap break room with little space, oh well.
Why do you feel the need to do these types of things? I stopped those because it was simply throwing money in the trash can. Case and point, quit bitching - the answers are right in front of you, but none of you fuckheads have the ball sacks to do something about it.

You describe a pathetic lonely little man who will die alone on his mountain of pennies. Hope it was worth it.
It's - 12 here and I walked to work today and did the same when it was - 27 earlier this week. Pussy.
KT
Do you work 45KM away?
No, I work less than one half of one kilometre away. :awe:

That was brutal. You got completed owned KeithTalent.Pussy. 😀
Law requires companies to allow feeding for employees at least once per 4 hours.
No matter what kind of dangerous or dirty etc job you are doing, it's required, if you are not getting it, your employer does abuse you pretty badly.
If I would be in similar situation, think I would leave job and put myself on welfare till I get something better, since even on welfare you will have more spare money than now. Anyway sucks to be in spain now, here more up north it's way better.
Sandwiches are good but I don't really enjoy the idea of eating 20 sandwiches in a month...
You're in Spain, a country with just about a 25% unemployment rate, and you log onto a primarily-American web forum to complain about how you just aren't willing to eat sandwiches for lunch to make ends meet?
This should go well.

Well, thankfully, I was able to sell some things I had and that got me thru
Some of the answers here are hilarious. A bike? Seriously?
Its -5C right now outside.
Like I mentioned above, I can't eat at work.
My only option related to that is to eat something cold (meaning no heat is needed) and eat it outside in my car. Sandwiches are good but I don't really enjoy the idea of eating 20 sandwiches in a month...
