Was going 55 in a 55... Because the f'ing engine wouldn't go any faster. Foot to the floor the entire trip. It's a 2 lane divided highway, 11PM, no other traffic. But nobody seemed to want to pass me until they rode up on my bumper first, flashed their lights, honked, and sat there for 45 seconds. A few of them made damn sure that I saw them flip me off, too. What did they expect from an antique truck covered in dents and other assorted damage on temporary tags?
 
I do get annoyed when people drive at the speed limit rather than the flow of the traffic, or block my way around i.e. like stop in front of a light on the right side of the lane so i can't make a turn. but I never flip people off for driving at the speed limit.

it's the freaking retarded morons going the speed limit in the hammer lane that i hate.

HELLO! you'd fail your drivers' test if you were going slow in the fast lane... if you are not passing, KEEP RIGHT.

other than that, I couldn't care less if you go 55 in a 55.. just not in the passing lane.
 
Nothing annoys me more than someone who passes in a non-passing zone.

I once had someone pass me going down a windy two-lane two-way country road when it was snowing. It was a pretty significant decline and I was going 30 mph... :|
 
Definitely wasn't in the left lane, in fact, I was as far over in the right lane as I could go without straddling the shoulder line. And I would have slowed down to 40 - but I never would've been able to get it going again.

But then again, this was in PA. Nobody in PA can think. Or drive.

umm just because it is the "Passing" lane doesnt give you the right to speed in it....... You would fail your drivers test if you went 65 in a 55 because it was the passing lane.....

It's a known fact. There's a reason the "WELCOME TO PA" sign says "Drive carefully" - if you aren't paying attention, one of them WILL kill you.

I usually get the sh*ts when somebody drives faster than me...but then that usually means that they have a better car and i can't keep up.

b. You drive over the speed limit in the passing lane because you are speeding.

Which means that's it's basically illegal to be in the passing lane.

going 55 in a passing lane means you are not passing.
either way, if someone looks in their mirror and sees a car that wants to pass, they should make an effort to get out of the way. it's not only etiquette and being respectful of others, but it makes the highway flow smoother!

You're not holding anyone up ILLEGALLY if you're driving the speed limit in the passing lane. You should only be there if someone in the right lane is going under the speed limit.
