One time a 15-year old girl asked me for a dollar at Walmart. That was really weird, as she didn't look poor or in any special need. She run away when I asked what the money was for. Some well-disguised redneck chick, probably.

This summer I'm mowing the front lawn when the school bus drops a bunch of kids. They walk to me, ask me what I was doing (??) and them ask me for money. Great parenting at work.
