First, I'd like to get a nice quality 19" monitor that can run 1600x1200 well. Any recommendations?

Second, I'd like to get an Athlon XP motherboard with quite a bit integrated right into the board.. Again, any recommendations?

For the monitor, if you want a really nice one, go with a Sony Trinitron. I believe there is a deal for a 19" in the Hot Deals forum right now. If those are out of your price range, try a "Tron" fro a different brand... basically same monitors, but made buy a different company. Mitsubishi Diamondtron, for example, or Viewsonic make one. Another option is Samsung. I think their 955DF model is quite highly regarded. Whatever you get, make sure it's flat.

For the mobo, ECS makes some dirt-cheap boards with stuff integrated. If you're looking for a higher-end board, look at something based on an NForce or NForce2 chipset.

;) Great advice Lint21. Another monitor to try is the Iiyama, esp their Diamond M2 tubes which not only offer pretty much the best image quality but also an excellent SuperBright mode which is excellent for viewing movies and gaming, in fact it is meant to give games a perf free AA effect (and that's coming from users and reviewers not from any marketing blurb). Iiyama offer ecellent value for money, but their M2 models IMHO are unsurpassed. Well worth checking out!

Are you sure you want to run 1600x1200 resolution on a 19" CRT (18" viewable)? Most quality CRTs out there can do 1600x1200 no problem, but isn't it to small?! :).

Here are my recommendations - it seems like you're on a budget, since you want integrated options on the MoBo:

Sony's are nice, but overpriced compared to the competition and in terms of what they offer.
NEC FE950+ is a very nice monitor, same with their Mitsubishi Diamond Pro series for 19".
Samsung 900NF is aso a nice solution, but DO NOT get the Samsung 955DF if you're planning on running it as high as 1600x1200, it has significantly lower refresh rates, and I think you're stuck at 65Hz if you go that high. Definitely not pretty on the eyes.
LG 915+ is probably the cheapest solution out of this bunch, but also great quality.

Any of these monitors will do you nicely at 1600x1200. Also check out variations from Cornerstone at Monitors Direct or ask Gossharkes about his recommendations. He's probably the most qualified person on AT to answer your question.

Rhombuss is right, I misquoted the Samsung model number. The 900NF is the better monitor when compared to the 955DF.
