In case you're afraid of surgery, I've done a few and it's NOTHIN. In fact it's kinda cool and if you die during the process, you won't even know.

Damn, that sucks. Hopefully you will be able to get treated promptly and that it goes well. Do you have decent health insurance?

Surgery is the easy part. Chemotherapy will be the hard part if he has to go thru it.

Wow, I've been in similar situations and it really feels like the end of the world. Try to keep your head up and I will keep you in my prayers.

Sorry to hear that. Cancer sucks and seems to frequently show up without rhyme or reason. Don't feel guilty telling your parents; depending on the prognosis treatment might move along very quickly and I'm sure they'd want to know what was happening.

Best of luck!

I wouldn't tell your parents until they get back, but be ready for them to angry that you didn't tell them asap.

Count me in on those hopes 100%, nick. We may have crossed swords here on the internets a time or two, but that is all meaningless piddly shite as regards real life.

You're young, your body is resilient, and you have a strong support group of people who care about you both here and out there in 3D land.

I'm wishing you the very, very best, man!

I'm sorry to hear that. That's one of my biggest fears. You can do everything right, live a healthy lifestyle, and cancer can hit you out of nowhere. I don't know how treatable your type of cancer is, but at very least your odds are probably much better now than they were 20 years ago.

I wish you luck, hope second test comes back as a mistake.

Mother-in-law just went through this, she had to take a year and a half off work and the Chemo was the hard part but now she is fine and cancer is gone.
