Everyone,

EVGA is announcing the following new SKU?s to its 7900 Series of products.

7900 GTX Series

512-P2-N571-AR - 512-P2-N570-AX

EVGA has been working out the new SKU?s to resolve the issues that some users are experiencing with artifacting during 3DMark06 and random games; we have been manufacturing new cards based on a new AVL list.

Here are the details on the new 7900 cards:

* New AVL Memory (Approved Vendor List)
* RoHS compliant
* Test results are extremely positive

If you are an EVGA user that is experiencing artifacting with your 7900 Series products we ask that you submit for an advanced replacement through our website directly. If you are not experiencing artifacting then there is no need for you to submit for an RMA, the number of cards that are having this issue is very low in comparison to the number of 7900 Series of cards that have shipped.

Please allow 2 business day for your card to ship once you have submitted for a replacement board. These boards will be shipped overnight to you via UPS in the US, and for Canada will be USPS Express.

Please visit www.evga.com/rma/ and make sure to select the Cross-Shipping option when going through the RMA procedure to apply for this new card.

If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me at the address below.

Thanks,

Pretty good news for eVGA customers. Hopefully other brands will follow suit. I have never owned an eVGA card, but their recent newer and better warranty, as well as their from what I have seen top notice customer service, will more than likely have me looking to them next time I buy an NV card. I had used BFG over the past several years, but eVGA is looking very good.

Yes this is great news... ohh and dont forget EVGA's step-up program.. I am now at #8 in queue for a 7900 GTX SC... this makes me feel alot better about getting my new card.. I'll be happy to wait a week or two extra to know the chances of getting a card with no problems are better. then get another for sli a couple weeks after that..hehe

Reposting is not the issue as long as it shares very important news such as this.
Back to the topic, luckily my eVGA 7900GTX has worked flawlessly since day one and it has been ~ two months old.
