Topic summary says it all. When I visit any page anywhere that has a WMP video in it my computer freezes up for a few seconds and then restarts. Typically I do overclock and I've tried setting everything at stock with the same result.

My hardware is as follows:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Asus A8N5X
1024 MB PDP PC3200 (patriot 2-3-2-5 1T)
EVGA 7600GT

If anyone knows about an issue with my hardware and/or WMP that could cause this I'd appreciate some info.

Edit: solved

This happens on my old computer as well.

I thought it was because it was so old and there was something wrong with the video card.

AMD K6- 800mhz processor
512mb pc 133 RAM
GeForce TNT 16mb vid card
20 gig 3600 rpm hdd
micro ATX motherboard

I'm using WMP 9 with Windows XP Professional SP2. It crashes my computer with Firefox AND IE. I haven't tried updating to the latest WMP yet. Guess I'll try that now.
