[Solved w/update]Time to RMA my Corsair ram? How good is their rma service?

Back in late 2016 I purchased some Corsair Vengeance LED ram. It has been working very well but this morning I noticed that one of the leds on the lower part of the ram has stopped working. I've tried switching slots and adjusting settings in the Link4 software but it appears the led bank is dead on the lower part of the stick.
Has anyone here dealt with Corsairs rma/warranty service before? If so how did it go was the turn around time decent and did you get a new replacement or a reburbed one?

Yeah you're right but at the time it was only $90 shipped. It was just too good a deal to pass up for such fast Ram.
Does anyone have any experience with corsair's warranty service? I'm getting ready to send it off at the beginning of next week and and I would like to hear some first-hand experiences.

Thought I would write a quick update to put an end to this thread. RMA process through Corsair went seamless using their online web portal. All I had to do was provide a screencap of the invoice from Newegg and a picture of the lot number from the side of the ram. From there all I did was mail it out to California and within 5 business days I had a new set. It was brand new in original packaging not a reburb like some other companies are known to send.
All in all a pleasant experience I just wish the LEDs on the ram had lasted longer. It makes me wonder about their longevity.

It's good to know there are still some companies provide good service when things go wrong. I've had a similar experience with Noctua, so that's one of the reasons I buy their products. Some companies just don't realize that good service builds brand loyalty, and repeat customers.

Usually all we see here is how "company X sucks, damaged my item, or screwed me over, so nobody should buy any of their products".
