Put it back to 100FSB, boot into windows at whatever mhz it lets you. Don't worry, it won't hurt the chip or anything. Go to http://www.iwill.net and download awdflash and the most recent bios for the motherboard, put them on a bootable floppy or just boot in MS Dos and flash using the file you downloaded, should be kk####.bin or .awd.

This should fix the problem.

Has this happened to you is that how ya know? Or ya just genius!? Hehe, Anandtech forumgoers (esp. outside of HotDeals and FS/FT) are always so helpful. THANKS MAN! I'll try this! It's not dangerous to flash the bios, right?

Yes it is very dangerous(if it fails, you are screwed without another bios chip, if it works, great!), but if you are going to take it back(if it doesn't end up working)then you'll be ok. It should be ok, just make sure you don't reboot or anything while it's writing to the bios chip, and save the curernt bios to disk. There are ways to get around it if it goes bad, search around for bios flash or something in the forums, or http://www.badflash.com I think.

edit: Yeah it happened to me, fixed my problem until my board died! But i'm much happer with my Iwill now. It is odd that it will only let you do 100-132. Make sure you have the jumper set to 133FSB instead of 100. It should say where it is in the manual..you might want to try this before you update bios.

On page 9 of your manual, doesn't it show you where the jumper is to set 100MHz/133MHz opperation?

I think more people are getting brave enough to try and build their own.  So it's the next wave of newbies.
