You're at twice the graphics score of my 780 Ti, so yes, I'd say you're doing fine. Upgrading to more PCIe lanes would probably net you a 3% performance improvement for US$800.

By the way, you might want to change the title of this thread to indicate that the problem is solved. ;)

Thanks, that means PCI-E isn't holding me back to any noticeable degree. I'm going to postpone upgrading to at least Broadwell-E or whatever the next E platform is called.

PCIe 2.0 won't be holding it back, there might be a small discrepancy but no need to invest in a new board.

Now I have other kind of problem. Suddenly both cards refuse to enter P8 performance state at idle and stay at P0 performance state clocked at an unboosted frequency of 837MHz drawing oodles of power, now my computer at idle draws 250W from the wall instead of 110-120W like before. Does anyone know how to force them into P8 performance state at idle? I don't want to waste over 100W not to mention that the GPUs are 15-20C hotter then they should be at idle.

Thanks, I've been using that program but I didn't know about that option. I'm going to check out if it helps shortly.
