"Please use ATTO so the sequentially targeted compressible dataset can be compressed by the drives controller and make our drive look as fast as it should.

Please do not use CDM to individually measure the 4k read as this may show that our new firmware has reduced 4k speed as a byproduct".

-Kingston support.

I [insert banned word] hate support from tech companies. They have, as usual, completely misunderstood or ignored your question and proposed a solution which masks the original question and would result in some pretty numbers.

Also, doesn't AS-SSD use incompressible?

Yeah AS SSD use incompressible too and here's my answer to them as much as possible with English :)

Screenshot is attached(first screenshot, my values).Thank you for your reply but i already told you i dont have any problem with compressible data speeds. What i'm saying is very simple. With the new firmware incompressible sequential write and 4k write speeds reduced.Sorry but you can't blame AS SSD for not providing accurate information. It is what it is.If i had the screenshots with stock firmware i would post it.Thanx to kitguru.net for reviewing the same drive i use, AS SSD score and readings were exactly the same as mine(like i posted the reading values in previous message) with stock firmware (second screenshot, review values). You can see my score and readings in the third screenshot with new firmware.I'm asking you now where did my 49mb/s sequential write speed and 50 mb/s 4k 64 thrd write speed go?These are numbers can not be ignored, can they?People spend more money for better SSDs for extra performance(like hyper-x model which is very good at incompressible data). That means both data performance is criterion. If you test this drive with old and new firmwares you'll see the difference.I'm not arguing with you, don't get me wrong but i just want my disk performance back.

Wow.I fixed the problem guys :sneaky:

I did the secure erase method again and installed a fresh copy of windows not a clone and now everything is ok :awe: My write speeds turned back to normal :) Here it is guys.

Ah excellent. Whilst it's good you've got it resolved, it doesn't really explain what went wrong in the first place! But hey ho. Got there in the end.

I guess the problem was updating new firmware while ssd as a primary drive and windows loaded on it.New firmware dynamics and enhance trim support might have caused this issue.I think it's just like updating new driver and restarting system. Our restart was secure erase with a fresh copy W7.Well i am glad now and problem is fixed with your ideas and helps.Thank you man
