solved - Cant port forward on my AT&T supplied router

i have ATT Uverse internet and im trying to port forward my xbox360. I have these instructions from portforward.com http://portforward.com/english...3800HGV-B/WebcamXP.htm

My problem is when i go to "select a computer" it doesnt show my 360 anywhere. I set its ip address to 192.168.1.88 and im not seeing that anywhere. Nothing named anything close.

It does show every computer currently hooked up to it and any computer that was ever hooked up to it.

Ive tried going into live then power cycling everything. I wish i could just type in the address.

Any ideas?
 
nevermind, i just figured it out.

When i changed the ipaddress on the 360 the address changed but it was still named 192.168.1.77

I clicked on that device and it showed the real IP which was 192.168.1.88. I changed the name from .77 to xbox360 and im all set now.
