SOLVED: Applications launch to far to the left!

Hello. I am having trouble with my Windows XP. When I launch an application, it always launches too far to the left. It is so far, that I cannot even move it. I can see them when I maximize them, but when I just restore them they are too far left. This problem is very annoying because some applications cannot be maximized, making it impossible to use them. PLEASE help me out!
 
I thought I would add this... for windows that open with the bar on top out of site so you can't move it, do this: alt+space bar then type "M"....then down arrow to move the window. 🙂
