Regardless of backup, a 430W bronze PSU is going to be far more efficient than a gold 650W because power usage of the psu on this system will be just right for the 430. It will be far too low for a 650W, and will cost you a great deal in efficiency.

As for the backup, I agree with 2 hard drives.
