Soldiers' farewell haka footage goes viral

Yea I'm confused. It's seemed more "dey took our jerbs" than "rest in peace". I guess I don't know what haka is/stands for.

You're getting the benefit of the doubt and just a warning. Please don't bring your race-based thread crapping into a thread like this again. It is unwelcome.

You can just FEEL the fvcking passion and love for the fallen soldier. Just watching it gets me pumped up.

If I were dead, I'd want this empowering haka than some sissy ass cry-fest over a pastor.

that's one warrior culture that you ordinarily dont want to mess with.

My fiancee is a quarter Maori and as a result has a pretty good understanding of their history. It's pretty, uh, graphic. Lots of really brutal conquest and a good run of being a cannibalistic culture! Then, of course, the British came.
