i guess some just can't handle the harsh reality of the world so they have to cushion themselves in religion.

Religion is far from the only superstition.

I find it funny how many people who bash religion and superstition believe in "luck."

"luck" doesnt cause people to blow up buildings or go on a crusade against others

but it would be bad "luck" if you were in one of those buildings or being crusaded against :p.

the superstition in america is too much sometimes.

WTF? As if the US has any more superstition than any other part of the world.

At the last count the US has 48% most superstition than the rest of the world as a whole and just over 64% more than 89% of Europe.

Um, huh? Source?

And, again, superstition is not only religion.

And you thought that fruitcakes were around only from Thanksgiving through Christmas . . . .

Wherever soldiers go they bring the word of God ?

Cannibalism in New Orleans ? The VooDoo people actually do live there . . . what to think of neighbors that keep chickens inside . . . as pets ?

That one made me cringe, I was wondering if someone else would pick up on it.

Curiously, the National Guard soldiers all appear to be from California where you have to be crazy to live there in the first place. :D

They are appearing all over the place.

I'm really starting to worry about you these days Dave.

Have you become that delusional?
