After having a screwdriver slip and cut a trace on my 8KHA+ board I managed to scrape back a bit of solder mask and solder on a short piece of 30AWG wire! AND IT WORKED! (this is a wire going to the DIMMs)


w00t! (I think I just voided a warrenty)
 
OMG, this one time there was a screw on my lightswitch faceplate loose, so I got a screwdriver and tightened it! 1337!
 
Excellent! You could probably sell a skill like that as there are lots of screwdriver accidents with !@# too-tight CPU clips these days...
 
Sorry, I'm just happy that it POST'ed as this board's been sitting on my floor for one reason or another (like lack of DDR RAM) for about two or three months. I'm just happy to see it POST. 🙂
