wow great price, although wtf is galaxy.

Galaxy is a lesser known brand that has been around for quite some time. I bought a GTX460 about 2 years ago (Galaxy) and it's been great (knock on wood, lol).

I've read Galaxy is a big brand in Europe. I believe they stick to mostly stock/reference designs similar to VisionTek/Zotac. Not many bad reviews of their products overall, they just aren't in the 'enthusiast' range.

No, I posted it on SlickDeals and it sold quick....very quick.

I think they had a bunch originally, I posted it on [H] at around noon and several guys there luckily nabbed one. I broke down and got one as well, pretty solid deal + I was going to eventually get Assassins Creed 3 as well.

They (like Amazon) have pricing and deals that fluctuate. Once, they sell their target number, they kill it. It is back in stock so soon after going out of stock at normal pricing. I will say I am saving alot of money but not doing any upgrades because of it though.

Indeed, as it is now back in stock, but at the original price. Er..nope, back OOS but at normal price. Things move fast :)
