DO NOT BUY THIS FLASH DRIVE! I left the title up so people can search for this item for future reference. Please read CaryH's post.

I'm not exactly sure if this deal is hot or not, but it does have the potential to be.

I've shopped at Shnoop before and they seem legit. I'm wondering what type of flash drive this is, how it looks, and if it's going to break in two weeks of usage.

Anyone pulling the trigger?

Okay, I just ordered one, will update when I receive it.

It appears these drives are all over eBay, selling for about $45.

Multiple WhoIs look ups show the site as pretty reliable. Aside from the seller, $30 for 16GB is a killer deal. I got my PNY 8GB from CC a while ago for $15, so I'mma hold off on this one. But if I didn't have a big enough flash drive, I'd jump right on that.

Well for the people that got in on this deal (myself included). By pure coincidence, I was opening my package with flash drive in it when I received an email from Shnoop.com stating that the flash drives have a manufacturers defect and they were refunding my money (which they did via Paypal). I guess I get to keep the drive but was wondering if anyone knows what the defect is and if there is a way around it.
(UPDATE:: Duh... These are fakes. They report to XP that they are 16GB and copying data to them appears to be successful, but in reality they are totally corrupt (just try copying them back and comparing to the originals). Into the trash it goes!

In any case, I think it was pretty awesome customer service on Shnoop's to refund the money on all the orders and let you keep the drive. They seemed genuinely apologetic.

so ive been hating on the shnoop forums for selling garbage and they banned my account!

I made another one and ordered the march 1cent box but then they called me and said they are cancelling my order because they ONLY WANT HAPPY CUSTOMERS! watch out for this place. They just want to take your money. you will not be pleased with this place. Stick with THINGFLING and Woot.

Wait wait wait... Im confused. If the only want money, why did they cancel your order?

Also, refunding $$ for the drives seems like a reputable move to me.

They told me they are going to cancel. Haven't actually done it yet but they did delete my posts on their forum. They delete posts that they don't like. Like amazon links to the product they are trying to sell. I haven't actually done it myself but I started noticing shady activities and spoke my mind. I continued ordering from them saying I would give them another shot but they didn't really like my outspoken self
